October has seen Internet Video Magazine begin a new Halloween video section of the website, which highlights some of the scariest Halloween videos. The videos offer a broad spectrum of content and styles that can appeal to famlies, kids and video makers.

Not only is Internet Video Magazine featuring these spooky videos, but has also included a batch of new reviews and how-to articles. These are obviously targeting serious and professional videographers.

Some of these new how-to articles illustrate how to improve on-location shooting as well as a special tutorial of sorts for the new Sony HDR-FX1000. The magazine also features an article on the best use of shotgun microphones to improve audio quality in your video work.

“Everyday, tens of thousands of cool new videos are posted to the net. Video and industry professionals and movie makers are creating and posting hundreds of exceptional sharp looking and sounding productions,” says Mark Shapiro, Editor in Chief at Internet Video Magazine. “Hobbyists and kids are also creating well-produced programs and shorts, as well as lots of not so good UGC stuff. But all of it has an audience.”

Internet Video Magazine’s focus since 1999 has and will continue to be recognized as the prime resource for professionals in the video world as well as audiences who enjoy Internet video.
